Peter grew up in Germany. His close relatives had immigrated to Canada after WWII. This provided Peter with the opportunity to join them as a young man.

 

He received his education at BCIT and graduated as an Engineering Technologist. For most of his professional life, Peter has been self employed as an estimator and project manager.

 

Together with his wife, they ran a market garden for 18 years on Salt Spring Island while raising their family of four kids.

Peter continues to provide office support for various construction companies on the island. He enjoys the great outdoors and is very much involved in the life of his four children. Two of them are establishing themselves on Salt Spring Island.
