Gerard Zentner

Director

Gerard, originally from Saskatchewan, began his automotive career across Alberta and BC. After discovering Salt Spring Island in the early 90s, he lived there before relocating to the lower mainland. He became a partner in a Kelowna company, then managed a national wholesale business in Edmonton. In 2005, Gerard and his wife launched their own company, expanding it nationally and internationally before selling it in 2020 and retiring to Salt Spring. He now helps small and medium businesses grow and implement lean processes.

Gerard was a member of the International Truck Parts Association board for 8 years and chair for 2. He was also a board member of the Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Canada for 6 years.  On Salt Spring he was a member of the Salt Spring Economic Development Sustainability Commission as part of the CRD.
